But without knowing details it is difficult to see where the issue is. In the end it pretty much depends on the packager to refuse it.
I understand that updates can be refused. However having an old version is , I think, not a good idea. I proposed to take it away alltogether. I rather not have sofware then have outdated software.
So, can you tell us the package and the bugnumber?
