Hello List ,
- something happened, and cannot start RippleClient : What is RippleClient? Is it possibly a 32bit binary?
libudev1-210-33.1.x86_64 is installed in which case you would also need libudev1-32bit. Except that it asks for libudev.so.0.
the download from Ripple Labs was called ripple-client64.tar and thus, supposedly a 64 bit program . .............. - many thanks : i have now installed : libudev1 ,and, libudev1-32bit but, i still get same error . next : . . . i asked " locate " , which found libudev.so.0 located with google-chrome , which seems most odd ! ......... next, i made symbolic link : ln -sf /opt/google/chrome/libudev.so.0 /opt/xrp/ ............. am still getting error : " ./RippleClient: error while loading shared libraries: libudev.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory " ...................... locate, produces output : # locate libudev /opt/build/pkg/nw/releases/RippleClient/linux64/RippleClient/libudev.so.0 /opt/google/chrome/libudev.so.0 /usr/lib/libudev.so.1 /usr/lib/libudev.so.1.4.0 /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pyudev/_libudev.py /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/pyudev/_libudev.pyc /usr/lib64/libudev.so.1 /usr/lib64/libudev.so.1.4.0 /usr/lib64/vlc/plugins/services_discovery/libudev_plugin.so .................. - what to try next please ? thanks regards -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
