Only with a new /home eg. user. I reinstalled, formatting a broken install, using a used /home, with an existing user, no matter what i did, wifi would not connect, while it allways did before, but there was also no question asked to test the connection also with ifup, and no errormessage was displayed about the failing connection. While it is asked with networkmanager enabled. Checking the soundcard: no sound. I could not set up wifi manual after reboot, so i suspect a setting in the user blocks things. I am now installing again new, to verify if this doesn't happen with new user.
Impossible to set up any kind of connection with a new user/ at all. :(( This i do not understand. Why does the other install imediately come online, and this new one even after 2 new installs, does not even work on a cord, not even manualy....
Did you install on clean partitions where Installer has no system, or user, settings to pick up? Do you use weekly snapshot, ie. always same CD/DVD, or you use NET CD, which will pull in version of Factory that is currently offered on the server? -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
