
Try opening it in safe mode from the command line: $ firefox -safe-mode You might find a plugin that's not behaving and you can disable it. I've had plugin issues with almost every Firefox update and had to do this. The worst offender is the GNOME 3 "tracker" add-on, but there are others. Yes. On my 11.4 system it does not crash. Only on 12.1 system.
