I'm sticking with the Firefox 52 ESR for as long as possible.
Me too, on openSUSE. On Windows and Mac OS X, I switched to Waterfox after Firefox 58 was released. On Ubuntu, I switched to Waterfox after Firefox 59 was released -- it now looks like most of my favourite addons will _not_ be ported across, because they do stuff that Web Extensions are not able to do. (E.g. move toolbars, combine multiple sidebars into one, add or remove UI elements -- in other words, the reasons that I use Firefox: its customisability.) I do recommend having a look at Waterfox. It is very good. It imports Firefox profiles without issue and all but 1 of my addons work unchanged -- and that one only fails on 1 or 2 machines and works on the others. -- Liam Proven - Technical Writer, SUSE Linux s.r.o.
