Dear Tumbleweed users and hackers,
The most noteworthy changes were:
*nice*, and Blender 2.90.0 of course. ;) To be honest, OpenXR and USD extensions are still missing. OpenXR allows backend agnostic AR/VR support: https://www.khronos.org/openxr/. In other words, you should be able to move in your scene using a (supported) VR set. USD improves scene exchange: https://graphics.pixar.com/usd/docs/index.html In other words, better interoperation with other 3D gear. I tried to tackle USD already[1], but that package doesn't behave like a ordinary library at all[2]. The easiest way might be to bundle it with blender. Suggestions and help is appreciated.
