Hello,
I can no longer connect a TW system to WiFi network that otherwise appears working - other devices connected.
NetworkManager true to the GNOME ethos provides no obvious diagnostics, it even does not ask for password as it used to when something went wrong in the past.
I have the same issue on my office laptop. But I do not think that this is a NetworkManager issue since there are other "symptoms" as well: 1. After login the plasma splash screen is displayed longer than usual (~25 seconds extra). From journal I found nothing special that could explain this. Just the usual warning prints from plasmashell, for which I found after some research that they are normal and only of interest for developers: Feb 25 21:42:22 my-computer plasmashell[31681]: file:///usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.private.systemtray/contents/ui/main.qml:17:1: QML MouseArea (parent or ancestor of QQuickLayoutAttached): Binding loop detected for property "minimumWidth" Feb 25 21:42:22 my-computer plasmashell[31681]: Error: cannot change the containment to AppletsLayout Feb 25 21:42:22 my-computer plasmashell[31681]: Both point size and pixel size set. The NetworkManager plasmoid does not ask for a password when trying to connect to a WiFi network, but nmcli works. 3. NetworkManager plasmoid does not show the ususal popup window for openvpn connections. 4. The screen settings for my dual screen configurations are reset to default. 5. The screen settings plasmoid buttons do not have a function anymore. Clicking then has no effect, but when open the screen settings dialogue from the plamoid, allows to change the settings. I'm a bit lost here. From the latest bugzille reports for tumbleweed I haven't found an issue that I could relate to the things I see. I'm not sure if that is a new issue and also I'm not sure which debug data is needed to dig deeper into it. Br, Frank
