The question is, of course : Do we wan't MATE in OpenSUSE ? No we don't, what we want is at least one fully working DE, not pointless forks or dozens of half working solutions.
In fact I believe everything that is not KDE4 , GNOME3 and XFCE needs to be dropped from the distribution.
But you had accept cinnamon during a time and it is not a complete DE. Please let us a chance to prove Mate has a place in OpenSUSE Don't take Cristian's as openSUSE project's opinion. He's just a guy who likes to voice his opinion.

Thanks Stephan. But what is your opinion ? Can I submit Mate to OpenSUSE ? I welcome maintained software people love and feel passioned about.
Greetings, Stephan
Stefan, Factory-auto tell me "X11:MATE:Factory' is not a valid devel project of openSUSE:Factory". And I don't find any documentation on how to get a project become Factory devel project. Can someone tell me how to do ? Thanks. Benjamin -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
