I notice that openSUSE:Factory has several packages named with the format python-python-*. It would seem to me this is redundant and not in line with the normal python packaging conventions, and was wondering if there is a specific reason this naming is used and, if not, whether it should be fixed. The specific packages with this naming are:
python-python-daemon python-python-digest python-python-gflags python-python-memcached python-python-openid python-python-urljr
The naming rule is python-<upstream name> in the first case upstream name is python-daemon so we end up with python-python-daemon. This seems redundant indeed but at least we are consistent.
