Listmates,
One update that continues to appear is cairo and related packages (-doc, -debug, etc..). The install error is:
Subprocess failed. Error: RPM failed: error: open of /var/cache/zypp/packages/subpixel failed: No such file or directory error: open of repository/i586/cairo-32bit-1.6.4-999.subpixel.1.x86_64.rpm failed: No such file or directory
This is on an x86_64, why am I getting an error on an i586 package? Also, why the local /var/cache/zypp/packages/subpixel error?
This seems not to be official.
You have a repo called "subpixel" which has this package and error.
Ciao, marcus
Marcus,
Of course it isn't official, it is the semi-official subpixel repo that Novell steered everyone to so that subpixel hinting could be enabled while doing the wink and dance around the potential clear type license violation before Novell made a deal with the devil. We all know what the repo is. Now how do I fix the cairo package problem? Is this a bug or is this automatically a "WONTFIX"?
I should perhaps asked explicitly first time round: - What URL has this repo? - What URL of the page you mention above? Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
