Hi everyone.
I started this discussion in another mailing list:
https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse/2016-08/msg00466.html
Then, I was instructed to proceed here, at opensuse-factory.
Since I believe Live media are important to Linux - especially because they present Linux to newcomers - I'm here to volunteer myself to build (or to help anyone that already started building) an official LiveDVD for openSUSE Leap 42.2.
Before seeking for help, I was doing all the work on my own. You can check what I've done until now here:
You can find what I have worked on so far here: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/home:cyberorg:testing Image is 42.2 with KDE and gnome both. As has been the case always, the live-installer works as expected including on EFI hardwares. I know this because I have tested it and haven't got a single complaints from over 18000 people who downloaded openSUSE Edu Li-f-e based on 42.1 https://sourceforge.net/projects/opensuse-edu/files/download/ISOs/openSUSE-E... I do not have time to spare maintaining this promo DVD, good luck with your effort. -J -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
