I'm trying to boot the 32-bit image in VB on a 64-bit (12.2) host. Would Oracle's 32-bit package make a difference?

Both Media (32 and 64 bit) Checksum is OK. So we can discard that issue.
I am not sure why (I would speculate it). It worked for me. In case it's possible try to boot 64 bit Live CD into 64 bit host to know it makes a difference. If it works please post it here.
I don't think VBox supports 64 bit. I've never had luck with it anyway. Gave it a try anyway, and openSUSE 12.3 tells me I have a 32-bit machine.

It sure does, I've been using the 64 bit version for a couple of years. -- Ken Schneider SuSe since Version 5.2, June 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
