Hello List ,

I don't have a problem with the current factory/13.2 wallpaper. It is as good as that for 11.3, 11.4, 12.1. But the 13.1 was a step above that, and I would like having that as a choice in KDE. download the rpm's and with mc extract the photographs and store them in ~/.kde{4}/share/wallpapers and you will have them for as long as you wish.
Or you can take any suitable [#] photograph or image you like and using, say, GIMP edit/mangle/whatever it, then resize it to fit your monitor's size and resolution, save it as a *png or *jpg file, and then put it in the above '../wallpaper' directory. [#] As in with enough pixels not to end up looking like big blocks of crud when expanded to fit your monitor screen size :-) BC -- Using openSUSE 13.1, KDE 4.14.1 & kernel 3.16.3-1 on a system with- AMD FX 8-core 3.6/4.2GHz processor 16GB PC14900/1866MHz Quad Channel RAM Gigabyte AMD3+ m/board; Gigabyte nVidia GTX660 GPU -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
