Going back to the very beginning of TW as it was originally developed by Greg KH it has been recommended to use zypper dup. The reseasoning was very clear, Each release of TW was (and still is) a distribution upgrade meaning it is a brand new release just as going from leap 42.1 to 42.2 is a new release. And using "dup" is still documented as the referred choice in the WIKI for TW.
And the original TW recommended this because it was a Factory derivative, and the recommendation for Factory always was "zypper dup".
and didn't change. i believe it is still "a factory derivative". -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
