[02-17-14 16:49]: [...] However, what I AM finding is that zypper INSISTS on trying to install kernel-desktop-3.11.10-7.1 as a NEW package when, as you can see above, I am (already) using kernel 3.13.x.........
multi-kernel, remove any kernel 3.11 and zypper will leave you in peace.
Where do you specify this in 13.1? Prior it went into /etc/zypp/zypp.conf but there is now /etc/zypp/multiversion.d/ which is empty and no "multi..." entry/section in zypp.conf. And the new documentation center, activedoc.opensuse.org, still refers to: "Search for the string multiversion.kernels and activate this option by uncommenting the line. This option takes a comma separated list of the following values..." re: /etc/zypp/zypp.conf confused. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
