[opensuse-factory] Compiz + NVIDIA + 2.6.30 (openSUSE 11.2 milestone 2) VERY slow

Is anyone experiencing very very slow frame rates when using NVIDIA Driver w/ Compiz on openSUSE 11.2 (Milestone 2, kernel 2.6.30)? It's unusable for me.. I haven't set up any other kernel, but guessing it's a kernel related issue. Maybe I'll install 2.6.29 to verify. Anyone else seeing this? known issue? Bug filed? -- I say never be complete.
