Carlos,
export JAVA_HOME="/usr/java/default" export PATH="$JAVA_HOME/bin:$PATH"
That's stuff... put that in a /etc/profile.d/java-sun.sh and reload your profile... it should work. JDK scripts from oracle should update the '/usr/java/default'.
You are not understanding the problem. I repeat that I have not any problem with running the java from Oracle/Sun. I have problems with the installation: Yast does not recognise JRE as providing java and wants to install another java. This is a packaging problem, not a java problem. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
