It seems KDE3 is no longer getting the attention it needs in order to survive as a viable option in Tumbleweed.
It's been already 4 weeks that a bunch of KDE3 related packages do no longer build in openSUSE:Factory; the notification mails that went out after one week of failed build have remained 'unanswered and without build fixes submitted'
Some of KDE3 packages (such as kdebase3) do not build in Factory https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/openSUSE:Factory/kdebase3
but build well in KDE:KDE3 against Factory. https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/KDE:KDE3/kdebase3
There is no difference between the packages so I think this is an internal Factory's problem.
Particularly, kdelibs3 has not been rebult since September 8! build32 finished "build kdelibs3.spec" at Tue Sep 8 17:48:33 UTC 2015.https://build.opensuse.org/package/live_build_log/openSUSE:Facto ry/kdelibs3/standard/i586
After that date Qt3 has been modified so all depending packages should be rebuild.
Thanks Ilya, I started to trigger a couple of those packages and this seems to go fine indeed. The K3 build system is overly nasty then though: the change in qt3 should really not require any rebuilding of any underlying things... but such are facts of life :) Cheers, Dominique -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
