I end up with interface names such as "wlan0_rename_re". Used rescue to rm /proc and /sys, followed by "md proc sys", also renamed "wlan0_rename_re" to "wlan0", yet udev keeps giving me "wlan0_rename_re". I couldn't find any reference in /dev. What's the way to fix this? "yast2 lan" only ever gives me a choice of "WEP" and I need "WPA-PSK". I hand edited the sysconfig file and got it to work, but upgrading to dhcpcd-1.3.22pl4-308/309 results in a buffer overflow on 3 boxes so far..... WEXT auth param 4 value 0x0 - wlan0_rename_re (DHCP) . *** buffer overflow detected ***: /sbin/dhcpcd terminated Submitted bug #366789 - error during boot and with "rcnetwork restart".
