OK, ipmiutil has been submitted and accepted into systemsmanagement:wbem, but when I try to submit it from there to the factory, I get a permission error doing the submitrequest: # osc sr systemsmanagement:wbem ipmiutil openSUSE:Factory Warning: failed to fetch meta data for 'openSUSE:Factory' package 'ipmiutil' (new package?) Server returned an error: HTTP Error 403: Forbidden No permission to create request for package 'ipmiutil' in project 'systemsmanagement:wbem', only maintainers can create requests.
Am I doing something wrong, or is there another step first? If I need to be designated as a maintainer for ipmiutil, I didn't see how to do that.
The owner of systemsmanagement/wbem should have made you maintainer of the package - and then you would have the rights to do this... So, please contact whoever approved the request - or do an "osc requestmaintainership", Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, Program Manager openSUSE, aj@{novell.com,opensuse.org} Twitter: jaegerandi | Identica: jaegerandi SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
