What keeps you from updating your Tumbleweed to https://opensuse.zq1.de/history/20200801/tumbleweed/repo/oss/ that has every rpm .xz compressed(as has been the case for a long time)? and then go to current Tumbleweed from there. Ciao Bernhard M.
