Beta is the common parlance for "safe but needs work."
To me it means "can be unsafe, and needs *lots* of work". Not only with openSUSE in mind, but anything. Alpha means certainly unsafe and also half made. Many people only installed factory till the RC phase - me included, with some exceptions. Maybe now I /might/ install TW at some point, for testing purposes only, and inside a virtual machine, as I don't have a real machine to dedicate to it. That's how it is... - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
