I do not see in the list things that you really do not need, worth bothering about them. But you do have kde3 installed. However... do you intend to compile the kernel? If not, you do not need kernel-source. Or compile anything? If not, you do not need make nor checkinstall. Skype is up to you, whether you intend to use it or not.
