Carlos, are you saying the network installation does not work?? I've done a couple of those, it seems to work fine except for bug#807288 and bug#809843. They are both easily worked around.
(I use DVD installation, not network install)
Well, yast failed to setup network during installation, it failed the test and could not download the release notes. Thus it also skipped the repository check and updates that it can do.
If you have more than one network interface, it could be related to bug#809843.
You people are talking, I think, of ativating the repos at a much earlier stage, so that installation is pulled from netowrk sources if available instead than from the DVD, in order to correct known problems.
Yes, the OP wanted to know how to add the update repo before starting the installation. It make sense in some cases. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (6.5°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - free DNS hosting, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
