More than ever I am now convinced that the RPM Groups we have in the distribution right deserve to be thrown away with prejudice, and I'm not interested in considering an alternative until that's been done so we can start from a nice clean slate.
The discussion is ongoing, and apparently there are three groups - a small one against Group tags, a small one for keeping it, and the majority does not care.
Nevertheless, you have mass-submitted apparently thousands of SRs deleting the Group: tags. I don't care about the tag, but doing so *now* is IMNSHO also quite rude.
It is also *massively* annoying.
Another annoyance for every TW user will be the forced update of all packages, in case the maintainer just accepted and forwarded the request to Factory, just because some metadata changed. Regards, Stefan -- Stefan Brüns / Bergstraße 21 / 52062 Aachen home: +49 241 53809034 mobile: +49 151 50412019
