That is correct, Console Kit is deprecated.

zypper -v rm ConsoleKit

doesn't seem like it's deprcated in 12.1rc2 Hmm. Maybe it is deprecated, but things are still built dependant on them. But from what I read from the developer, systemd makes ConsoleKit unnecesary and as far as I know not inherently useful.
