The entire snapshot is realaes 'as one' to the FTP sync - the 'leading thing' is basically the meta-data: if you got the metadata for the new snapshots - all referenced binaries must be from the new snapshot. The only way you can get in 'half-updates' is by not running 'zypper dup' and doing selective updates (which you can, if you know exactly what you're doing - but complaining about breakage is a no-go afterwards) Cheers, Dominique
