Is it possible to use multiple repo (like primary and update) during installation? I do not see where I can add them in installer.
I didn't use the installer since a long time (thanks to zypper dup ;-) but in the good old times[tm] [1] there was an option to add repos (maybe it's called "Add-On"?) in one of the early steps of the installation. IMHO it makes sense to add the update repo as early as possible - you'll already get fixes for package installation (%post scripts etc.) and for the second stage of the installation. I never had any problems with adding the update repo that early (but as I said: thanks to zypper dup, I don't run the installer too often ;-) -----Original Message----- Indeed, the older the release is, the more sense it makes. I always include the "update"-repo when doing an install. You avoid installing packages that will be replaced during a concequent update. So for factory it doesn't makes sense, but even for 12.3 it saves (some) time... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
