Well, the obvious solution (at least to me) is to make it really abundantly clear that if you want your input considered, you need to make it in the "official" place. We do this all the time on the forums - people report bugs, and while we'll help determine if it is a bug, in the end if they don't submit a bug to bugzilla, it's not going to get addressed. This is particularly true of the "troll-like" posts we get in the few weeks following a new release from people saying "it was released too soon" or "nothing works" (or similar). If they didn't participate in the beta (which arguably not everyone can do) and don't ask for help and submit bugs when they run into a problem, how do they expect anyone to know there's a bug to be fixed? You can't assume that testing is going to catch 100% of the defects, and you can't wait until 100% of defects are fixed before shipping.
