Hi,
As long as I (might) understand the reasons for this change, it will
be nice to know how can it be deactivated. Definitely I don't want to
have to enter root password everytime I need to connect to a new WiFi
network.
Kind regards,
Eduard

That's intentional, network connections are system settings after all. The authentication should be only needed once when you create the connection though. If there are prompts when you activate a connection it would be a bug.
That could be a problem for a "corporate" notebook. If a user wants to take it home (or elsewhere) and connect via WiFi, what happens if they don't have the root password? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
