Since the original mail-thread got us no one stepping up wanting to take over the future maintenance of gst-010, I'll now file delete requests for these packages in Tumbleweed. Note that the packages could stay, but someone needs to take ownership of them.
From most the feed-back I got last, the impression I had was that not much should still rely on gst-010, so lets see how removal will work in a staging.
/Bjørn -- Zaitor. I see that somebody is already marked as maintainer of multimedia:libs/gstreamer-0_10 so the package can remain until nothing depends on it. Look under the users tab. It's not necessary to delete the packages until they're no longer needed and simply waste space.
