Has there ever been any graphical tool for this purpose? Afaik for years, sax2 could only configure vendor and model of the mouse, but maybe I just overlooked something.
sax2 is what I used before
sax2 is still available, but the mouse configuration part seems to be gone. Maybe, it is worth opening a bug report. The Gnome Control Center let you configure the mouse to some degree, but it seems to lack 3 button emulation or activating special buttons. My mouse has 16 buttons (or button-like feature). Unfortunately, X seems to support 5 buttons only. And if you to activate a special button instead of the 5 standard buttons you must use a pointer statement that I posted yesterday. -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
