Anyone know why post-13.1 vtty10 is nothing but black instead of kernel messages, if it exists at all? The system I have currently booted to Factory won't let me get past vtty6 (in runlevel 3). Others I can get there, but it's empty, or I can get there only if in runlevel 5, where it's still only black.
Let me guess: you are not running rsyslog.
If that's what it takes and it isn't started via default installation configuration, then I'm not.
I have many 13.1 installations. All have messages on tty10.
I have many 13.2 installations. None have messages on tty10.
In the currently multi-user.target booted 13.2, ps -A | grep sys produces nothing resembling rsyslog. All 5 lines are systemd* lines. Also, none of tty7-tty12 are reachable.
