It's 1783595 bytes. That seems outlandishly large. The whole file dates back to 11.0, since this has been a Factory installation only upgraded in all that time. It's total size is 33403K. Notwithstanding that it would be a fraction of that size if ever 11.4 had been installed fresh, nevertheless it looks from my perusal and seeing references to an abundance of noauto NFS fstab entries like PBL is doing some unnecessary things, and why it seems to take an awfully long time to install a new kernel. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
