For a variety of reasons, I have tried grub, grub2, lilo, and now syslinux (extlinux, actually). In fact, I am quite happy with syslinux. It feels a lot like grub, without the huge config file (grub2) or the other issues I had with lilo. What would it take to get syslinux (extlinux, actually) support into yast2 or whatever as a supported bootloader? I am willing to do some coding. For me, a big benefit is that - once installed - it does not need to be run again even if the config file changes, as well as being fast and easy to use. -- Jon -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
