A million questions...
Lots of questions... Star Office - where is it? How do you install it? I couldn't see anything on YAST Wordperfect - where is it? How do you install it? (Actually someone installed this for me - no idea how they managed it..... but it won't print to my HP) VNC (server ...and client)? - where is it? How do you install it? If you're running Xserver - and logged on, how do you 'connect' to another Linux box and run an Xsession with that box - without loosing your own local connection. I assume there must be Telnet and XDM methods? I would like to run a citrix client (downloadable from citrix as a tar or zip or something - but not an rpm as far as I can tell). Where do I put it? And what do I do to unzip untar it? And how do I 'run' it? And WINE - where is it and how do I get it working? And if I copy (OK I'll get a licence if it stays there) an exe file - how do I run it via WINE? Can I make .exe extenstions automatically execute via WINE? ...enough to get me started.... -- Alan Davies Head of Computing Birkenhead School

Alan, I thought the same, look in the commercial section, its called so_en then each user has to run sosetup in an xterm window. There are instructions on how to do this in the FAQ at the SuSE web site. regards Richard richard@tortoise.demon.co.uk
