I have normally been using SuSE but I am just taking a look at Red Hat. I don't normally use rpm's but in this case I have to. Is there any way I cen tell RH to resolve package dependencies and install them all (like you can with SuSE) or do I have to go through each one individually? Which would be a real pain in the backside.
I hear rumours that the ported version of Debian's APT (Advanced Package Tool) does a pretty good job. A quick google search revealed: http://apt-rpm.tuxfamily.org/ Try searching for "APT RPM" if you need more references. Of course, I'd recommend simply using Debian in the first place, but then I'm biased.
