Hi all,
Hello. [..snip extraneous information..]
Squid configures fine and appears to run fine but as soon as an attempt is made to connect to, for example, an online email service, after the logon there is no further traffic. Similarly, other logon sites (some closed school support sites etc.) also fall into the bit bucket.
That's interesting. I have never encountered this problem before. I am inclined to think it is a https problem, but you seem to think otherwise so I'll go with your jugdement.
The browser is immaterial and dropping squid and running just NAT does not encounter this behaviour.
Then it must be to do with the way you have squid configured. Would you post your /etc/squid/squid.conf file, either to me personally or on-list.
