I don't use exchange, just the OE newsreader.
My logs (via my Linux router) show the messages go out once only.
I post to a couple of dozen other lists and never see this behaviour.
My best guess is that the ntl smtp relay somehow misunderstands the SUSE listserver and is resending unnecessarily. No use in asking ntl about that, though (or anything else for that matter...)
