Hi all, I'm hoping someone can give me a clue to solve this problem. A friend has installed a proxy server in his school with RH9 and that release's squid. (After using ClarkeConnect and RH8 installs.) Squid configures fine and appears to run fine but as soon as an attempt is made to connect to, for example, an online email service, after the logon there is no further traffic. Similarly, other logon sites (some closed school support sites etc.) also fall into the bit bucket. The browser is immaterial and dropping squid and running just NAT does not encounter this behaviour. Broadband is for Surrey Schools and is, I believe, RM provided but Surrey C.C. (.gov.uk!!) supported, hence there is no non-M$ advice available. Is it a squid thing or a feed thing? Why can it proxy normal traffic but not after a logon? I don't think it is an https thing because some of these sites aren't using https! Any ideas gratefully investigated and I can get more info if required. -- Best wishes, Derek
