I wish I *did* get to use Linux 24/7, but even so Outlook is banned
from our internal network, there are really good free alternatives
even for commercial use. It's just my opinion that a mailing list
called linux-uk-schools should be just that - related to providing
help and information about the installation and use of Linux within
the academic community.
There are plenty of links for security and virus info from well
established sites like www.freshmeat.net or www.zdnet.co.uk,
although as always, I feel that if there is a vunerability within Linux,
then info should be distributed to Linux mailing lists.

I presume the business would come from the fact that some of us aren't using Linux 24/7. And some of us might even be using Outlook Express to read our e-mail...........
