Yeap, that's correct. However until we formally announce the dates (along with venue), we should not start making FB event pages. It was my impression that we did agree. If I recall correctly the target is as follows:

- soft start July 18 with a pre-conference event in the evening - full day programs July 19, 20, 21 - soft ending July 22

However, these are only target dates until the venue is confirmed.

For my understanding, this means that the conference will ~1 day shorter then last conferences?

Not quite. oSC12 and oSC13 were both 4 day conferences and osc13 will also be a 4 day conference July 19 - 22. However, with the "soft ending" we were trying to express that we expect that people leave during the day on Monday. For better or worse it appears to be the case at almost any conference that people leave on the last day of the event instead of the day after. We will still plan on having sessions on the 22nd. At least this is my understanding of the discussion we had during the kick-off meeting.
