Heya, Those of you who haven't, pls read my blog about Re:Publica, an event in Berlin two weeks ago: http://blog.jospoortvliet.com/2012/05/republica.html I think it'd be nice to try and do some of that for our conference. It would need: - at least one track with carefully picked (invited, some paid for...) speakers - and advertising in the right places! It'll cost money and time but might attackt quite some interesting people. Thoughts? /Jos

My thoughts exactly, meaning that this will definatelly cost some money to bring people from other Communities, can we spare some money for it? I find the idea great and maybe with carefull planning might work and make the oSC even bigger but at the same time with out loosing the strong sense of hospitality that I got last year. just some thoughts on it :-) Kostas -- --- \m/ --- http://opensuse.gr http://os-el.gr http://amb.opensuse.gr http://www.kde.gr http://warlordfff.tk --- \m/ --- me I am not I --- \m/ --- Time travel is possible, you just need to know the right aliens -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-conference+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-conference+owner@opensuse.org

I think this is something with great marketing value and I can probably get some extra $$ for it so it won't affect our budget (much).

I think we'll have to talk to the LD people - if they are interested in this we can do this with them. It will be mostly for the two days we have with them, after all.
just some thoughts on it :-) Kostas
