[opensuse-buildservice] getbinaries: missing packages: libzio
I'm getting spurious and intermittent build errors like the subject says all over the place. Triggering a rebuild usually fixes it, which makes me thing it's a dead build host. In this last case, it's build21. Btw, in case your user agent doesn't show it, the subject line says: getbinaries: missing packages: libzio PS: If you did need to read the above line, please switch user agents ;-) PS2: Back when I seem to recall "osc buildhist" showed the build host used - why isn't it showing it now? is there a way to check which build host built some failed build in the past? (if so, I can create a more detailed report of hosts exhibiting this problem) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

Sorry, it wasn't build21, just a little before I wrote "osc rbl" a rebuild was triggered. Probably automatically due to some dependency changing. So I don't know which host is the broken host yet. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

Found it. Sorry for the triple post. build08/7 x3 build23/11 build35/12 build11/5 build24/15 Doesn't seem to be a pattern, other than build08/7 being a bit more recurrent. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

libzio got renamed in factory some days ago to libzio1, perhaps something is not fully built through. Ciao, Marcus -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

The problem are the old jobs already scheduled with the old library name. If the scheduler doesn't look at your project in time, the job is dispatched to a worker and then the worker finds out the job is invalid as the packages no longer exist. Unfortunately such build jobs then are failed. but should get re-scheduled in standard modes, since the build depencies are changing. bye adrian -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE Linux Products GmbH email: adrian@suse.de -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

They are not not as we're talking about "support" packages. Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

If you post this bug publically, you should maybe open it for the public as well. All I get now is 'Access Denied'.. Dominique -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+owner@opensuse.org

Don't worry, bug 764524 is about a problem with the interconnect. Completely different cause, same error message.
