Not authorized to do anything

Hello, I wanted to create a new project on OBS (under my home:stig124), for a desktop music player https://github.com/nukeop/nuclear When I try to create the project, I'm not authorized to do so. Same for creating a package under my home Is there any way to fix that?

The usual recommended way is to request this either admin mailing list or via https://bugzilla.opensuse.org Look for "openSUSE.org" and "OBS Request" IIRC -- Adrian Schroeter <adrian@suse.de> Build Infrastructure Project Manager SUSE Software Solutions Germany GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nuernberg, Germany (HRB 247165, AG München), Geschäftsführer: Felix Imendörffer

sorry, you did want to create a sub project under your home project? This should work indeed without extra permissions. How do you try to create it exactly? Using the webui? Is osc meta prj -e $project_name working? -- Adrian Schroeter <adrian@suse.de> Build Infrastructure Project Manager SUSE Software Solutions Germany GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nuernberg, Germany (HRB 247165, AG München), Geschäftsführer: Felix Imendörffer

Is
osc meta prj -e $project_name
working?
When I go to the home page, and do "Create project" on sidebar or even a Subproject (Home - Subprojects - Create Subproject), it fails with : "Sorry, you are not authorized to create this Project." osc meta prj -e $project_name returns : "File unchanged. Not saving." I already created projects in the past with no issue, but now I can't anymore, I'm going to mail the admin mailing list that, as it seems to be a bug

okay, this sounds like a webui bug, please create an issue on github.

I am able to run that command on home:stig124 (the only project I am able to have) and it pops the same thing that I see on the meta tab of home

You need at least add a title.. If you just send the template it assumes it was an error.. Just add something in between the <title></title> tags.

Did exactly that, same exact issue : """ Sending meta data... BuildService API error: create_project_no_permission (403) no permission to create project nuclear """ I will mail admin list

It made the home project appear on my profile, but sadly no change whatsoever, already contacted admin, waiting for an answer

You tried to create a global "nuclear" project instead of a subproject of your home project. In order to create such a subproject, you should run "osc meta prj -e home:stig124:nuclear". Marcus
