[opensuse-buildservice] openSUSE:Factory got updated to Beta2
Hi Builders, I just updated the openSUSE:Factory repository to the rpms from beta2. Thus the build service will be quite busy rebuilding packages for the next couple of hours. Cheers, Michael. -- Michael Schroeder mls@suse.de SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF Markus Rex, HRB 16746 AG Nuernberg main(_){while(_=~getchar())putchar(~_-1/(~(_|32)/13*2-11)*13);} --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

Maybe factory should be synced more often? for ex on daily basis - than package rebuild process will progress more smoothly Are you planning to move 10.3+1 development entirely to BS? I looked today at ubuntu's launchpad and they "user/developer oriented" model seems to work very well. Especially bug fixing and patch proposing. It just lacks one functionality - accessible for all BuidService :-) Regards. Rafal
Cheers, Michael.

i am not sure that is a good idea. as you can trigger many rebuilds. and than you have a buildservice that is busy all day with rebuilding all packages against factory. darix -- openSUSE - SUSE Linux is my linux openSUSE is good for you www.opensuse.org --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-buildservice+help@opensuse.org

Also, it's quite handy if you can use the Factory BuildService RPMs together with the Alpha/Beta installation media.
