Hi, I've been trying for a week to understand why this package :
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=DekiWiki_9.02.1&project=... e%3Amindtouch builds successfully and appears on the OBS repository :
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home://mindtouch/CentOS_5/noarch/
but doesn't seem to be pushed to the rsync repository (which we are using for our release, to sync our own repo)
http://rsync.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/mindtouch/CentOS_5/noarch/
If I'm not mistaken the project/package publishing flags are enabled and I triggered package rebuilds without success. On the Apr 15th upload, I waited until the 18th but it still wasn't pushed. There's something wrong.
Help would be really appreciated as our release process is currently stuck.

Submitted Bug 496363 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=496363 Cheers.
Thank you for the bug report. I looked into it yesterday. All I can say right now is that pushing to mirrors lags more or less, depending the sync speed to mirrors. Technically, rsync.opensuse.org is just another mirror. The push to it was lagging behind with >500 projects yesterday. I could not find out what was causing this. I changed the priorization of syncing to be based on age of project rebuild, so it no longer works alphabetically. This is more fair and prevents a lag from hitting certain projects very hard. Non-home projects are still treated first (needed to protect us from the higher download demand). I added some debugging to hopefully get more insight in the future.
home:mindtouch is pushed out by now; rsync.o.o has caught up, is fully synced and seems to stay in sync nicely since yesterday.
Note that home:* projects are pushed only to a subset of the mirrors. Only 3 mirrors (one of them being rsync.o.o) get the home projects. So it's normal that they don't reach other mirrors.
Right now, most of the pushed mirrors are in sync, with some exceptions. Yesterday evening, number of pending pushes were: 1775 ftp.iasi.roedu.net 1931 ftp.nux.ipb.pt 825 ftp.twaren.net 1192 sourceshare.org 644 susestudio.com 18 widehat.opensuse.org
Today, remaining numbers are: 1202 ftp.iasi.roedu.net 1804 ftp.nux.ipb.pt 271 ftp.twaren.net 803 sourceshare.org
So, twaren.net is slowly catching up, while roedu.net and ipb.pt are nearly too slowly synced to catch up really. sourceshare.org is catching up after a break (move to new hardware and new IP address).
So it looks better now, but I don't believe that my change in priorization of project pushing is responsible for this. I assume that something else was wrong, but I couldn't see what.
