You're still using one of these famous Netbooks it seems. The Mesa OpenGL driver for Intel 945GM is no longer sufficient for Glamor, which is the 2D acceleration for modeset X driver. That's an issue only on the Live system. As workaround you could use Kernel boot option 'nomodeset' switching the driver to 'fbdev'. Please understand, that we can't concentrate our work on hardware from 2011 (or older).
