You're still using one of these famous Netbooks it seems. The Mesa OpenGL driver for Intel 945GM is no longer sufficient for Glamor, which is the 2D acceleration for modeset X driver. That's an issue only on the Live system. On a real installation the old intel driver would be used for 945GM, which doesn't need GLAMOR for 2D acceleration.
