I then used an Android app to connect to it: Microsoft Remote Desktop, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.rdc.android But the connection fails with: Your session ended because of a protocol error. If this keeps happening, ask your admin or tech support for help. Unfortunately the first release of libpainter was alongside xrdp v0.9.1, which means the 0.9.0~ git snapshot we ship in Leap 42 doesn't have the code and support for it. Sorry, I'm afraid I'll mark this as WONTFIX against Leap 42.3, as adding the unsupported libpainter would involve an ECO in SLE12-SP3. Please correct me and feel free to reopen if necessary.
